Terms of Use

These are the terms for the interview practice service offered in India by LithiumQ [FLAG: full legal name, e.g., LithiumQ Technologies Pvt Ltd] (“LithiumQ”, “we”, “us”). The service is powered by Roleshift — a role-play platform for workplace conversations, operated by Roleshift LLC, a Texas company — under a licence from Roleshift LLC to LithiumQ.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Your contract is with LithiumQ.

What the service is

LithiumQ offers Indian users interview practice powered by the Roleshift platform. You can upload resumes, compare them to positions to get an AI-generated fit score and feedback, and run practice interview sessions with an AI interviewer. Sessions may be recorded if you opt in.

What it is not

• We are not a recruiter or staffing agency, and we do not share your resume with employers.
• We are not an education provider.
• The “positions” you practise against are editorial templates, not real job postings. Where companies are named, they are not our partners and have not endorsed the service.
• A high score does not mean you will get any job; a low score does not mean you won’t.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18. One account per person, signed up in your own name with an email address you control. You’re responsible for keeping access to that email secure.

Your content

Your resume content belongs to you. By uploading it, you grant LithiumQ — and, as needed to deliver the service, Roleshift LLC and our sub-processors — a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process it as needed to provide the service to you. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems.

We do not share your resume with employers, do not sell your data, and do not use your content to train AI models.

The AI-generated outputs we produce — fit scores, feedback, transcripts, evaluations, recordings — are derivative works of the service. You receive a perpetual, personal-use licence to view and download them for your own preparation. You may not resell or redistribute them, or use them to train competing AI systems.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to access the service beyond a normal individual’s pattern.
• Upload or score another person’s resume or identity without their consent.
• Use the service to train, evaluate, or benchmark a competing AI product.
• Extract our prompts, model configurations, or position templates as a dataset.
• Reverse-engineer the service.
• Generate content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, infringing, or that contains other people’s personal data without their consent.
• Circumvent plan limits or interfere with another user’s account.
• Probe for security vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure process — write to [FLAG: security contact email] if you find one.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Plans and billing

We offer Free, Starter, and Pro plans. Current prices, limits, and inclusions are shown at sign-up and on your Account page, and may change over time.

Auto-renewal. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period using your payment method on file until you cancel.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your Account page. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and then drops to Free.

Refunds. We don’t generally refund unused time on a current billing period, since you can cancel at any time. We will consider refunds for duplicate charges or material technical failures, and we will refund where Indian consumer protection law requires us to. Refund requests should be sent to [FLAG: support contact email].

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may keep your plan active for a short grace period; if the payment still fails, the plan drops to Free.

Currency and taxes. Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST), which are added at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider in India.

Member Org offers

If a partner institute (a “Member Org”) grants you a discount or limit boost, the terms are set by the Member Org, displayed in-app, and applied by us. We don’t adjudicate disputes between you and a Member Org. If your membership is revoked by the Member Org, you stop being a member on our side.

AI outputs are guidance, not judgment

The outputs the service produces are generated by large language models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent between runs. Treat them as practice feedback, not as authoritative judgment of your candidacy or as predictions about hiring.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service running smoothly but don’t commit to a specific uptime number. The service may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, including outages at Roleshift LLC or other infrastructure providers.

Changes to the service and these terms

The service is actively developed. We and Roleshift LLC may add, change, or remove features, plans, AI providers, and other aspects of the service. We may also update these terms. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes we will notify you before they take effect, and if you continue to use the service after a change you accept the updated terms.

Ending the relationship

You can stop using the service at any time. To remove yourself fully: cancel your subscription, then delete your account.

We may terminate your access if you materially break these terms, don’t pay, or if we are required to.

Disclaimers and liability

We provide the service “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, including hiring decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of LithiumQ, Roleshift LLC, and our affiliates, taken together, for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) ₹10,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any non-derogable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and rules made under it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

If you and LithiumQ have a dispute, please write to [FLAG: support contact email] first so we can try to resolve it directly.

If we cannot resolve it that way, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [FLAG: city of LithiumQ’s registered office], India, except where a non-derogable consumer protection right gives you the option to bring proceedings where you live.

Other

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce something doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and LithiumQ about the service. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a corporate transaction.
